The Seabrook Police Officers Association was established in 1979 for the express purpose of perpetuating the memory and spirit of police officers who have given and continue to give their lives in the pursuit of duty. Consistent therewith, the Association adopted the following objectives:
- To promote social fellowship and economic well-being of its members;
- To instill in members the spirit of cooperation and the high regard of our calling;
- To assert a wholesome influence on the education of the citizens of our city, especially with the purpose of inculcating respect for law and order;
- To fund scholarships, sports and other such activities that contribute to the healthy development of community youth;
- To cooperate with courts, judges, and branches of government, both state and national;
- To incorporate among the members a closer personal acquaintance;
- To receive, gather, and disseminate such information as might be helpful to members in the performance of their duties;
- To promote complete cooperation and unified action with the various police organizations of the state.
